The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has begun an investigation into a disciplinary issue of Civil Court Judge Ali Naseer.

The JSC decided to investigate the issue during a commission meeting held today.

However, the JSC did not provide any further details into the matter.

During the meeting held yesterday, the commission had decided to investigate into some other judges as well. These include Chief Justice of the Civil Court Abdulla Ali, Chief Magistrate of ADh. Dhangethi Magistrate Court Mohamed Amir, Chief Magistrate of GA. Nilandhoo Magistrate Court Abdul Muhsin Abdul Hakeem and Chief Magistrate of Lhaviyani Judicial Division Mohamed Moosa.
