CEO of state-run children's orphanage, "Kudakudhinge Hiyaa" has been relieved of his duties over an investigation by Human Rights Commission of the Maldives.

Gender Ministry had confirmed the news to "One Online".

Media Coordinator of Gender Ministry, Ibrahim Mohamed said that the CEO of the orphanage was relieved of his duties after the HRCM asked them to do so over an ongoing investigation.

However the Ministry did not reveal any details of what HRCM was investigating.
