Vice President of PNC and former Economic Minister, Mohamed Saeed, has said that he does not believe the former President, Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom will be freed and if he was, he would show the path to take as the oppositions.

Talking on CNM’s “Ithurukaafu” program, Saeed, who is also the MP for Maavashu constituency, said that if the former President was free, he would guide the opposition activities but that is not possible today.

Noting that the accounts with the funds for the coming local council election are frozen, Saeed said that the state of the country and the government’s talk of change itself changes and in the name of democracy, this administration is operating in another system.

Saeed said that the current administration does not have an adequate economic policy and couldn’t do anything in its first year. And they are completing projects that were started in Yameen’s administration.
