President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has met with the Councilors of Noonu Atoll Kendhikulhudhoo Island Council.

At the meeting held at the President's Office yesterday, discussions were focused on the development plans for the island and concerns of its residents.

Some of the concerns raised by the Councilors at the meeting include challenges to proper waste management, delays in the sewerage network project, the need for upgrading healthcare and requirements for additional resources at the school.

The need to enhance policing services and seeking the Administration’s assistance to promote tourism was also discussed at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, President affirmed that his Administration would work with relevant institutes to address the concerns raised by the Councilors.
