Dangerous traffic collision on the bridge involving multiple vehicles

A multiple vehicle traffic collision has taken place on the Sinamale’ Bridge around 1:30 a.m. last night.

Images of the aftermath at the scene show a number of cars and motorcycles towards the bridge ramp at Boduthakurufaanu Magu in Male’ City.

While the people injured in the collision have been taken to the hospital, the details of their injuries are not available at this time.

Witness to the collision, the Deputy Mayor of Male’ City Council, Shamau Shareef tweeted that it was the scariest traffic collision he has seen in his life. He said that along with the loud crashing of the vehicles, there were screams of pain and horror.

He said that three cars were involved in the traffic collision.
