President of the United States, Donald J. Trump has been impeached for abuse of power. This is the third impeachment in US history.

At the impeachment debates at US House of Representatives yesterday, debates highlighted that Trump tried to eliminate political opponents by pressuring the Ukraine against his oath of office.

While the party line passed that President Trump has been abusing his authority by 197-230 votes, the second vote was taken for obstruction of Congress.

The US Democratic Party secured the victory of impeachment without any votes from the Republican Party. The Democrats won with 241 votes along with that of the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi.

The impeachment hearings are set to begin early next month at the US Senate.
