The name of the Head of the Presidential Commission on Death and Disappearance, the former Attorney General, Husnu Al Suood have been sent to the judiciary committee of the parliament to be reviewed for consideration to the Supreme Court.

HIs name has now been sent to the Judiciary Committee for further review and consideration. The Judicial Service Commission had previously noted that Suood fulfilled all necessary criteria for the Supreme Court.

Suood who was the attorney general during former President Mohamed Nasheed's administration currently serves as the President of the Commission on Death and Disappearances formed by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
