A man has been found dead in the air shaft of a residential building in Male' City.

Maldives Police Service (MPS) confirmed the news to "One Online".

Police said that a young man was found dead in the air shaft of a residential building and that works are currently underway to confirm the identity of the deceased.

They further noted that the case was reported to them this morning around 10:10am.

Police revealed that they were investigating the case further.
