President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has congratulated all Maldivian athletes, after noting that it has been a great week for Maldivian sports internationally.

In a tweet, the President congratulated Moosa and Azneen who had won bronze in the World Bodybuilding Championship in Korea, which is the highest place that the Maldives has ever placed in such a competition.

In addition to them, the President also congratulated Naba, Nabee and Zayaan for winning at the YONEX SUNRISE Pakistan International Series 2019.

"Great week for Maldivian sports internationally. Congratulations Moosa and Azneen for winning bronze in the World bodybuilding championship in Korea. Also congratulations to our badminton players Naba, Nabee and Zayan for winning the first ever gold in a WBF circuit tournament," the President said in a tweet.
