Dhivehi Insurance Company has handed over the claim payment to Fuel Express Maldives, who suffered a great loss from the T-Jetty fire incident.

The company noted that the claim payment for the damages during the fire last September, was handed over during a special ceremony.

The payment was handed over by our MD Mr. Abdul Wahid Thowfeeq to the MD of Fuel Express Mr. Mohamed Shihab.

"It is our primary objective to ensure that clients get compensated fast, and be back to business as soon as possible," Wahid said during the ceremony.

While recieving the payment, Mr. Shihab commented, "We are extremely pleased with the professional manner the claim was handled, which has boosted our confidence and trust and further cemented our relation with the company"

The fire incident was reported after a speed boat and fuel bowser caught fire, spreading to several nearby fuel bowsers before the firefighters controlled the fire.
