Alyan and Asma the top athletes in the National Bicycle Championship

Alyan Mirushan and Asma Hassan has won the best athletes in the third National Bicycle Championship organized by Bike Maldives.

The two-day tournament began on Friday in Hulhumale’ with a number of events. The winner of the 200-meter men’s sprint event was won by Alyan while the second place was claimed by Mohamed Afzal followed by Ibrahim Shuau in third.

The men’s 3 km sprint event was won by Mohamed Maaiz while Mahmood Hussain won second place followed by Afzal in third. The men’s 5 km event was won by Alyan while Shuau won second. Third place of the event was won by Mohamed Faahir.

Faahir also won the men’s 10 km followed by Mohamed Adam in second and Hussain Ali Habeeb in third. The men’s 40 km event was won by Mohamed Shiyam followed by Hussan Haeem in second and Mohamed Shiyam in third place.

The women’s 200-meter sprint event was won by Mariyam Shaarath Shareef while the second place was won by Asma Hassan followed by Aminath Adam. The women’s 1 km event was won by Asma followed by Shaarath in second place and Amithan Adam in third.

The 3 km women’s event was won by Asma and Shaarath came in second followed by Hamdhiyya Abdul Gafoor in third place. The women’s 5 km event was won by Nizmeen Latheef followed by Zuleykha Hassan Didi in second place. The third place of the event was won by Khadeeja Hassan Didi. The women’s 10 km event was won by Nizmeen Latheef followed by Aminath Adam.

The men’s team event of the Championship was won by Three Star. The second place went KiyaaSports while MS Academy won third place. The women’s team event was wont by Mahchangolhi Women; the second place went to Mukaku Recreation followed by Three Star.
