Necessary arrangements have been made to facilitate lawmakers to meet their constituents in Parliament premises.

Speaking to the press regarding the works of the Parliament, Secretary General Fathimath Niusha confirmed that necessary arrangements have now been made to facilitate lawmakers to meet their constituents in Parliament premises.

She added that these meet ups will be organised and managed by the department that focuses on member services of the parliament administration. She further noted that upon a request to meet a member, the section will make the necessary arrangements for the meet up.

Niusha highlighted that this will bring lawmakers close to their constituents.
