Criminal Court has extended the remand period for a man arrested for inciting violence and issuing death threats.

Police confirmed that upon being presented to the Criminal Court, the court had issued another 15 days for his remand period therefore extending it for a second time effectively. The man was arrested on October 12.

The man was arrested for inciting violence as well as calling for the murder of certain individuals on social media. Furthermore he had posted posted symbols, logos and documents from various terrorist groups.

Police arrested the 27-year-old on terrorism counts and he was remanded for five days initially, though no further details of the case were made public.
