Three people have been injured on two traffic collision on the Hulhumale’ Highway.

The first of the two incidents took involved a motorcycle where the driver lost control and skidded on the road. The second incident took place when a motorcycle hit one of the motorcycles stopped at the scene of the first incident.

One Online journalist reported from the scene that the first incident took place after the speeding vehicle lost control. The man driving sustained various degrees of injuries however, he left the scene on his own motorcycle and the police are working to identify him.

The second incident took place after a motorcycle stopped at the first seen to see what was happening and another motorcycle behind it crashed into it. The two people injured in this traffic collision are the man that stopped on the road and the woman who crashed into the man’s vehicle.

Due to bleeding from the mouth and inability to stand up, the man was taken to a hospital on police jeep with the help from the public. The woman was taken to a hospital in a police car.

Police said that all three people involve in the incidents have driving licenses and the two people that were taken on police vehicles are receiving treatment at the Hulhumale’ Hospital.

They are also investigating the traffic incidents further.
