Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, AIshath Nahula has said that for as long as she is in power, she will take action against incompetent employees.

Answering a question by a lawmaker during the Committee meeting of Parliament Committee on National Development And Heritage which included senior officials of the Ministry, Minister Nahula said that it was unacceptable to see any employee of the Ministry treating a consumer less than they deserve.

She further noted that her role as a Minister is to serve the people and that necessary action will be taken to ensure that role is fulfilled to it's maximum capacity.

She however noted that action against civil servants are taken by the independent body, Civil Service Commission.
