Maldivian Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Aishath Nahula has met Dr. Mohammed Bin Nasser Al-Zaabi the Executive President of the Public Authority of Civil Aviation of Oman.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the ICAO General Assembly held in Montreal, Canada.

During the meeting, discussions were held to identify areas of mutual cooperation in development of the aviation sector. The Ministry revealed that the Executive President had assured assistance in training in the field as well as further developing the field in the Maldives.

The Executive President had also expressed that they require assistance in terms of sea plane operations such as the Maldives, during this event as well.

Transport Ministry further added that discussions were held to further strengthen the ties between the two countries in terms of transport.
