A number of speed breaks on the Sinamale’ Bridge has been removed in an effort to reduce the number of traffic collisions.

Talking to One Online, the police media official said that the speed breaks were removed temporarily to reduce the number of traffic incidents taking place on the bridge under the discussion among the Transport Ministry, Housing Ministey and the Maldives Police Service.

Police media official said that they were removed after it was noted that how they were installed were contributing to traffic incidents.
