A group of people have broken into the Vilimale’ office of the Male’ City Council and attempted to break in to the safe.

Today, Maldives Police Service said that the break in where the robbers went into the office after breaking through a window of the office, was reported at 5:20 a.m. this morning.

Police said that investigation has accounted for everything and the culprits were unsuccessful in breaking into the safe.

While no arrests have been made so far, police are investigation further.
