Sri Lankan Airlines have won two prestigious awards at the South Asian Travel Awards 2019 held at Amari Galle on 20 September.

The national airline of Sri Lanka won the award for Leading International Airline and the Leading Passenger Class – Business in the Visitor’s Choice category at the gala award ceremony of SATA.

The awards were accepted by the Manager of Sri Lankna Airlines Maldives, Sujeewa Rodrigo.

Since its inaugural award show in 2016, the South Asian Travel Awards organized by Highrise Maldives have become a prestigious tourism award in the region.

SATA 2019 features 500 nominees from six countries while 18 industry organizations and tourism boards in the region endorsed the event.
