Four air condition units stolen from the resort being developed at Raa Atoll Kottafaru has been found installed at two houses at Raa Atoll Maduvvari.

Maldives Police Service said that the theft of four AC units were reported on last Tuesday. And Police intelligence learned that two AC units were installed at two residential houses in Maduvvari and the other two units were stored at two other houses in the island.

Following the information, a special operation was conducted on Friday by the police with a court order where the houses in question were searched and took the custody of the AC units.

Police said that three men of the ages 21, 22 and 27 were arrested yesterday in connection to the theft and an investigation is underway.
