The fourth edition of the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) has begun with the Opportunity and Conversation panel event.

Representatives from a number of countries are taking part in the two panels held at Amari Galle Hotel in Sri Lanka.

This year’s SATA features 500 nominations from six countries.

The event has been endorsed by 18 industry organizations and tourism boards the awards celebrating the prominent businesses and individuals in the tourism industry.

The inaugural SATA was held in 2016 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The 2017 edition was held at the Equator Village in Addu City and the 2018 edition was held in Mumbai, India.
