President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has revealed that the works on a cancer hospital in Hulhumale' is scheduled to begin in the near future.
The President announced the project during a press meet held at the President's Office today. Speaking on government policies, the President noted that the vision for the health sector is to improve it as much as possible.
As such, he said that by the end of his five year Presidency, notable changes will be seen in the health sector.
Under the government's efforts to improve the sector, several changes are to be brought to state-run IGMH and tertiary hospitals are to be developed in various areas of the country.
President Solih also noted that the works of a cancer hospital will begin soon in Hulhumale', with a goal of finishing it up in 18 months.
