An expatriate worker has died after falling from a building under construction in Hulhumale’.

Media Official of the Aasandha Company operating the Hulhumale’ Hospital said that the 37-year-old man was dead when he was brought to the hospital.

The official said that Bangladeshi national sustained numerous injuries in the fall which also caused bleeding from the nose.

Maldives Police Service said that the fall from the tenth floor was reported this morning around 11:50 a.m. this morning. Police said that the incident is being investigated.

Sources say that the incident took place at a building being developed under the Hiyaa Project under the Phase 2 of Hulhumale’.
