President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has advised those in possession of a copy of the report prepared by the Presidential Commission investigating deaths and disappearances on the death of Minivan News journalist, Ahmed Rilwan Abdulla, not to do anything that may obstruct the investigation.

Speaking to the press regarding the investigative report, President Solih noted that it included sensitive information which will hinder the investigation if made public. Hence he appealed not to make any such information public which will compromise the ongoing investigation into the murder of Rilwan.

Concerns rose after the report was presented to the Speaker of Parliament who provided a copy to all the PG Leaders, which was followed by a draft of the report being uploaded to the Parliament's website and a debate on the report in the Parliament.

The President requested to keep secret all sensitive information in the report.

He further added that the investigation is still ongoing and that several people are to be questioned, hence the report is not complete in its entirety.
