President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has concluded his visit to Noonu Atoll and returned to the capital.
On his visit to the atoll yesterday, the President first stopped on Miladhoo island to unveil a monument commemorating the Golden Jubilee of Hidaya School before the president attending a special event to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Hidaya School. The President also met with the island Councilors and senior institutional representatives of Miladhoo Island, and also met with the Magoodhoo Councilors later in the day.
The second leg of the President's trip to the Atoll was to Kudafari Island, where he met with council members and senior institutional representatives from the island and the Atoll Council. The President also attended the special ceremony held to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Kudafari School at the School.
Before concluding his visit, the President also visited Kudafaree School this morning and planted a tree there according to the President’s Office. In addition, he also toured the island's waste management center and the eroded beach area.
