President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has stated that legal action will be taken regarding the findings of the Presidential Commission tasked to investigate the disappearance of Minivan News journalist Ahmed Rilwan.

The President said this in a statement released today.

In his statement, President Solih also noted that the aim of creating the commission was to finding what happened to Rilwan and bringing the perpetrators in front of justice in addition to preventing such a thing happening in the future.

The Commission had shared their findings regarding the case on September 1st, and shared the report with the Speaker of Parliament yesterday.
