It has been revealed that a closed witness testimony had said that the Minivan News journalist, Ahmed Rilwan was forced on a boat and taken out to sea where he was decapitated and buried at sea.
The summary report publicised by the Parliament on the findings of the Presidential Commission on Enforced Disappearances and Murders revealed that it was the first anonymous witness who revealed the details about the murder of Rilwan.
The report noted that Rilwan was forced onto a boat and taken out to sea, where he was decapitated after which his body was thrown off into the sea.
The boat he was taken onto was one from AA. Ukulhas, that belonged to a man from Ukulhas named Mohamed Raashid. He along with another of the same house used two boats, which were then used by the jihadist groups as their sources of income.
The report further explained the statements of the President of the Commission, Husnu Suood. It reiterated that Rilwan was kidnapped at knifepoint in a red car and taken out to the boat forcibly. The report revealed that Shaffaf, Alif and Munakko were present in the car during the kidnapping.
