The closing ceremony of the Global Youth Peace Ambassador program 2019 has been held at the Maldives National University (MNU) last night.

The training program held from 29 to 31 August in corporation with the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment and the Regional Alliance for Fostering Youth (RAFY) is the largest international youth development program held in the Maldives so far.

It was a training program to prepare future peace advocates in their respective countries.

Taking to One Online, the President of RAFY, Aishath Rafiyya said that every participant received a medal at the end of the program.

The program saw 200 participants from 30 countries along with expert lecturer from six countries. The participants have started returning to their countries today according to RAFY.
