A man has been injured after a wooden board falls from the eighth floor of a residential house in Male’ City.

Maldives Police Service said that the wooden board installed on the balcony of a house in Maafanu district fell on the road and hit a man walking by. The incident was reported to the police at 10:03 a.m. this morning.

While the injured man is being treated at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), police are investigating the incident further.
