Chief of Defense Force, Major General Abdulla Shamaal has departed on an official visit to Sri Lanka and Thailand.

MNDF revealed that he will be first participating at the "Annual Chief of Defense Conference" to be held in Thailand from August 26 to August 28.

Following the conference in Thailand, he will fly to Colombo for the "Colombo Defense Seminar" scheduled for August 29 and August 30.

Chief of Defense Force will return to the Maldives after concluding the trips on August 31.
