The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has accepted Former High Court Judge Dr Azmiralda Zahir and Former Civil Court Judge Aisha Shujune Mohamed as nominations for the Supreme Court bench.
As per Article 148 of the Constitution of Maldives, President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih nominated Dr. Azmiralda and Shujune to the top court, and sent the names to the JSC for a consultation.
