Speaker of the Parliament, President of MDP and the former President of Maldives, Mohamed Nasheed, has said that the government is going to fulfill every promise made to the people during the latest Presidential Election.

In his address at the MDP Councilors Conference today, former President Nasheed said that the government has set dates for the development projects and the Public Sector Investment projects will be running on those dates.

He said that promises made on the issues of minimum wage, housing and travel are in the works.

The former President said that it would not be wise to go at another direction without reforming the Judicial System. He said that the government is aware of the concerns due to the delays but the most important thing is to amend the judiciary by going through the courthouses.
