A new fitness coach has been appointed to the men’s National Football Team.
The new fitness coach for the team is Montenegro’s Mirko Krunić who replaced Vladimir Krunić after his contract expired. Vladimir Krunić now works with the national football team of Myanmar.
Coaching staff for the upcoming matches of the national team consists of Head Coach Peter Segrt, Assistant Coach, Ahmed Shakir (Shaakittey), Assistant Coach, Gela Shekiladze and Goal Keeping Coach, Aslam Abdul Raheem and the Fitness Coach, Mirko Krunić.
Next month, Maldivian National Football team will play two World Cup Qualifying matches. The first is an away match against Guam on 5 September following by a home match against China on 10 September.
Although the team is to camp in Malaysia before the Guam match, they are currently camping in Sri Lanka to acquire US visas.
