A special clinic for this year’s Hajj Pilgrims has been opened at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

The OPD clinic opened yesterday will be opened from Sunday to Thursday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. according to the hospital.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) has advised the public to be vigilant as diseases spread more than usual every year after the Hajj Pilgrimage. And so, if a Hajj Pilgrims show signs of fever, cough and breathing difficulties within 14 after returning, they are advised to consult a doctor as soon as possible.

While Maldivian pilgrims have started returning to the country on 17 August, the last group will be departing from Saudi Arabia on 31 August at 12:25 a.m. according to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
