Famous singer, Mohamed Majid (Mezzo Mode) has said that the former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom is a president that opened up narrow roads.

Mezzo Mohamed was previously an avid supporter of the now ruling party, MDP. However, he has been criticizing government policies recently.

In a tweet sent out yesterday, Mezzo Mohamed said that President Yameen opened up the narrow roads and made it possible to walk and drive across the sea. He said that the government was changed after false accusations influenced the people and it will be considered as a ploy from a group of people hungry for power.

While Mezzo Mohamed has praised the former President, he has made similar remarks in the past as well saying the President Yameen brought the largest development to the country.
