A massive fire broken out on Saturday, at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi.
The fire has reportedly broken out on the first to fifth floors of a building in the PC block of AIIMS Delhi. Initially, the fire was limited to the first two floors.
The fire has since been controlled and no injuries were reported.
Since the hospital also accommodates Maldivian MBBS students, the Maldives Embassy in India assured that none of the students were injured during the incident.
"We are monitoring the situation with regard to the fire that broke out at the teaching block of AIIMS, New Delhi. So far no casualties and the Maldivian students presently studying MBBS at AIIMS are safe," the Maldives Embassy in India tweeted following the fire.
They had also requested to forward any concerns regarding the fire to the Embassy.
