The couple who went missing earlier on Tuesday morning while out snorkeling in Moofushi Resort has been found.

MNDF revealed that the couple who went missing while out snorkeling was a German couple. The couple had themselves found their way back to the resort, and upon a medical checkup they were pronounced to be healthy by the doctor.

Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) today revealed that their Coast Guard Marine Rescue Coordination Center (MRCC) received reports of the missing couple around 11:19am.

MNDF also further noted that the couple went snorkeling in the lagoon of the island resort.

A divers team of the coast guard is was active to find the missing couple.
