Fenaka Corporation has decided to send in generators to five islands in a bid to improve electricity services.

In a tweet sent out on Tuesday, Fenaka revealed that generators are being sent to GA. Villingili, GDh. Thinadhoo, L. Fonadhoo, L. Gan and Th. Guraidhoo. Out of these islands, Thinadhoo, Fonadhoo and and Villingili will be receiving one 1 megawatt generator each while Gan and Guraidhoo will each receive an 800 kilowatt generator.

Fenaka also revealed that loading works of all of these generators have already been completed and added that the generator being sent to Guraidhoo is almost ready to be shipped off now.

They also noted that while the shipments have been delayed due to the bad weather, work is ongoing to ship the generators out within the next 24 hours.

They highlighted that the generators will be installed and up and running as soon as they reach the intended islands.
