Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Aishath Nahula Has participated in the third Global Aviation Cooperation Symposium.

During the symposium, the Minister talked about the current situation of the aviation industry and highlighted on the challenges that it today face.

Transport Ministry revealed that the symposium also facilitated talks on strengthening the aviation sector in the Maldives further.

“On the sidelines of the event, she also met the ICAO president, regional directors and Senior officials from different aviation institutions,” the Ministry said in a tweet on Saturday.

The symposium was held in Phuket, Thailand.
