The Maldivian Embassy in Thailand has advised the Maldivians in Bangkok to avoid crowds after several small explosion in the city injuring four locals.
The Embassy made the announcement on Twitter advising Maldivians to avoid crowds and always carry their passport. The Thai Government has urged the public not to panic while security measures are being tightened.
Several small explosions were heard in Bangkok today hurting four local people. While security measures is being tightened the Thai Govt. has urged the public not to panic. We advise Maldivian citizens in BKK to take extra precaution, avoid crowded places and to carry passport.

Reports say that six explosions took place at various parts of the city. So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the explosions.
