One Online has signed in on as the Online Partner of the 'Global Youth Peace Ambassadors 2019'.

A total of 14 parties signed as partners and sponsors for the Global Youth Peace Ambassadors 2019, during an event held on Tuesday morning at Hotel Jen.

Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment signed as an ambassador while Hotel Jen signed as the VIP Hotel Partner, Araam Stay by Nakatha Travels signed as the Accommodation Partner along with Clear Sky by Cojont, MNU signed as the Venue Partner, PSM signed as the Official Media Partner, Habeys signed as the Entertainment Partner, ADK signed as the Emergency Medical Partner, Hawks signed as the Facilitation Endorsement Partner along with MACL, Happy Market and Police while Buruzu Catering signed as the Catering Partner.

Speaking during the ceremony, founder and President of Regional Alliance for Fostering Youth (RAFY), Dr. Aishath Rafiyya had thanked the sponsors and the partners for the programme for their continued support. She further added that she sincerely accepts the trust put in RAFY as an NGO, who is trying to hold an international event of such caliber for the first time in the Maldives.

The programme is scheduled for August 28 till August 31, where Former President and Speaker of Parliament, Mohamed Nasheed will be the Chief Guest.

RAFY has revealed that 150 youth will be participating in the program from a total of 25 countries.

The aim of the Global Youth Peace Ambassadors programme (GYPA) is to train and support young people to conduct peace building activities that bridge socio-ethnic, religious and community divides and contribute to living together with dignity.
