Environment Ministry has signed a contract with Canadian Crystalline Water India LTD to install a water drainage system in Noonu Atoll Holhudhoo.
At a special ceremony held at the Ministry today, the agreement was signed by the Environment Minister, Dr. Hussain Rasheed Hassan and the Legal Representative of Canadian Crystalline Water India LTD, Hamdhoon Anees.
The project is estimated at MVR 6.56 million according to the Environment Ministry and the project is contracted to be completed within ten months.
The project under the government’s Public Sector Investment Program, is targeted to resolve the flooding issue in Holhudhoo.
