President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will be travelling to the Seychelles on a state-visit from 2nd to 4th August 2019.

This visit is being undertaken at the request of the President of Seychelles, ]Danny Faure, whose invitation was relayed to President Solih through a letter delivered by President Faure’s Special Envoy, Mohamed Afif, at the President's Office during the latter’s formal visit to the Maldives.

Mohamed Afif currently serves as Seychelles’ Secretary of State for Cabinet Affairs.

Through the signing of several Memoranda of Understanding and a series of bilateral exchanges at the highest level, it is expected that this visit will prove a boon to the friendly relations between our two island-republics.
