Parliament has revealed that they have requested for security to MPs who are currently being threatened.
Speaking to the press about the works of the Parliament, Secretary General Fathimath Niusha noted that the Parliament requests for security assistance from the MNDF in the case where an MP receives threats.
She added that security has been requested for five MPs, after they received several threats.
However, it was not clear as to which members have received threats and are due to receive security.
