The bill on granting protection to those who expose government corruption has been opened for public opinion.
The Parliament Administration said that the opportunity to present ideas to the Whistle-blower Protection Bill by the MP for North Galolhu constituency, Eva Abdulla, has been opened to the public starting from today.
And so, opinions on the bill can be presented to the parliament’s committee on institutions until 31 July 2019 via email or letter.
The bill states that the state has to provide protection to those who blow the whistle on violate the constitution, human rights violation and corruption along with abuse of state funds and property.
