The Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has opened submissions for the FinLit Fest 2026 art competition, aimed at promoting financial literacy among school students.

The competition is open to students in two categories: Grades 5–7 and Grades 8–9. Both digital and traditional artwork will be accepted.

The MMA has identified five themes for the competition, including financial well-being, responsible money management, savings and future goals, an inclusive financial economy, and innovation and the future of a safe and sustainable financial system.

Participants will have the opportunity to win cash prizes of up to MVR 3,000. Selected artworks will also be featured at the MMA’s events and financial literacy campaigns.

Students can submit their artwork by email to [email protected] or deliver the original artwork to the MMA. The submission deadline is 1 November at 11.59 pm.
