Hulhumalé Phase 1 will feature a new 10-lane bowling arena, gaming arcade and multipurpose hall, the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced.

The development will also include a locker room, public toilets, changing facilities, parking and spaces for social events.

HDC said the project aims to provide residents and visitors with more recreational facilities while strengthening social interaction in Hulhumalé.

The area will be developed with consideration for the existing vegetation, shoreline and surrounding environment, HDC said.
