This year's O-Level exams began today with over 8,000 students participating.

The Ministry of Education stated that more than 8,000 students from across the Maldives will take part in this year's O-Level examinations.

The O-Level exams for Grade 10 students will run from today until November 12.

According to the Ministry, a total of 8,111 students are participating in the O-Level IGCSE examinations, while 7,776 students will take the Higher School Certificate (HSC) exams.

Examinations have been arranged for 3,222 students across 25 centers in the Malé region, and 2,869 students across 242 centers in the outer islands. As the first assessment of the exam period, students sat for the HSC Dhivehi paper today.
