Officials elected and appointed to various positions at the PNC Congress 2026 have taken their oaths of office under the party’s constitution.

Former Prosecutor General Muhuthaz Muhsin administered the oaths at a ceremony held during today’s Congress session, which was attended by PNC President Dr Mohamed Muizzu.

Six newly elected deputy presidents also took their oaths, along with ministers, senior government officials, Members of Parliament, women’s and youth wing officials, administrative officials and steering committee members.

Among those sworn in were Youth and Sports Minister Abdullah Rafiu, Fisheries Minister Ahmed Shiyam, Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed, Chief Spokesperson Mohamed Hussain Shareef, MPs Fathimath Saudha and Ibrahim Shujaau, and Chief of Staff Abdullah Fayaz.

Nine women elected to the party’s Majlis were also sworn in, along with seven youth members and 18 general members.

Women’s Wing President Heena Waleed, Youth Wing President Ibrahim Abaan and other elected wing officials also took their oaths.
