The HA. Hoarafushi Council has opened the opportunity for interested parties to lease, develop, and operate tourist guesthouses in the Hoarafushi Tourism Zone.

In an announcement made yesterday, the Hoarafushi Council stated that a total of six guesthouses are scheduled to be developed under this project. According to the council, land for this project will be allocated in accordance with the Hoarafushi land use plan. As such, six plots of land have been designated for this purpose within the council's jurisdiction.

Parties interested in participating in this bidding process must register and purchase the bid documents before 11:00 AM on 1 October 2026. The council has published a dedicated Google Form link (https://forms.gle/GG6GtSZKU3wTD8ns9) for registration. The council welcomes financially and technically capable parties to participate in this bid. The deadline for such parties to submit proposals is 11:00 AM on 12 October 2026. Proposals must be submitted directly to the Hoarafushi Council.
